PETER PAN IS DEAD

Picture
Peter Pan is Dead is a play about douche-bags, revenge, and navigating the world of love in the year two thousand and something. Fairy tales, ancients myths and the modern world collide in this harsh, yet poignant exploration of youth and expectation.

The play has had performances at the Thespis Theatre and Philadelphia Fringe festivals.

"Fringe exists for productions just like it."- Phindie

THE MOST AWKWARD LOVE LIFE OF PEABODY MAGOO

Picture
His name is Peabody Magoo. Yes, that's two cartoon character names in one. First name: a cartoon dog. Last name: an old man who's face looks like a scrotum. An awkward name for an awkward boy. This is an adorably tragic search for love.

The play premiered at the 2015 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

"intimate and heartfelt" "a must see play at this year's Philly Fringe Festival"- Broadway World

"irresistibly sweet, adorable, and totally engaging"  "this is one Fringe production that is meant to be seen en masse!"- Phindie

GRIMM WOMEN

Picture
Grimm Women is a modern, gritty riff on the Brother's Grimm fairy tales that examines these classic tales, their characters and explores what happens after "happily ever after." These fairy tales gone wild feature a Little Red with some issues, a Rapunzel with the longest weave in the land, and a boy kissing frogs trying to find a prince.

Grimm Women has had performances in NYC at The Kraine Theatre, West End Lounge, Manhattan Rep, in Philadelphia at the Adreinne Theatre, and in New Jersey at Montclair State University and Photography by SKY. An art series was created based on the play by mixed media artist Lisa Ferrante.

"Monokian is a clever and witty writer, weaving humor through darker issues and social dilemmas to highlight them, and choosing a cast of performers capable of delivering the punch. It would be tough to leave the theater, without continued thought on Monokian’s creative writing abilities and the characters’ talent and team spirited effort to bring the show to life. Talent always shines or dies when there is no scenery, no costume changes and no other minor characters to support the main core cast. In the case of Grimm Women, the talent shined…brightly!"- Delco News Network
